The Dinner by candlelight is served in the grand Salle à Manger with embroidered linen, family silver, fine porcelain and antique crystal. The majestic XVIIIth century dresser dominating the room is spellbinding indeed. The Comte and Comtesse de Vanssay, hosting dinner, will introduce you to their château and its history. Dinner includes an entrée, a main course, salad, a selection of cheeses and dessert. Two different wines, chosen with care, will be served during dinner. The dishes are not pretentiously gourmet, but rather represent quality family cuisine, with essentially local products and no frozen foods.

A liqueur (Cognac, Calva, spirits...) as well as coffee or tea are served after dinner in the Grand Salon. This exceptional drawing room is only open to « The Manor Born » diners and you will be able to sit in one of the XVIIIth century armchairs, with its original embroidery. This unique furniture collection was made for the marriage of the Marquis de Vanssay in 1778 and has not left the room since.
